Essential Objects: Survival or Comfort

What are three objects I could not live without?

I will first address this matter seriously, as if everything were stripped away from me and I was left with only three essential items for survival. Following that, I will provide a more relaxed perspective, focusing on desires rather than necessities.

THE THREE THINGS I LITERALLY COULD NOT LIVE WITHOUT:

MY BIBLE:
My Bible is essential to my daily life, like oxygen to my soul. It provides comfort, guidance, and strength. Its powerful words are as powerful as a double edged sword and offer daily clarity, reminding me Who is in control. Jesus Christ is the Source of hope and true peace I have found no where else. This helps me face anything with grace and courage. It would be important to “hide God’s Word in my heart” just in case I didn’t have my Bible.

MY INHALERS:
My lungs were severely damaged in 2009 with the strike of H1N1 sending my lung function down to the 40s. Thankfully it got up to the 70s and I was told it would never get higher than that BUT GOD. I am in the 90s presently but still need the preventative daily. I’m grateful for medical advancements that allow me to manage this with no problem.

FOOD AND WATER:
I figured this was common sense for everyone, but if we lost everything, I’d have need for a trusty water supply as well as learning hunting skills to be able to look for grub which is waaay out of my comfort zone! I’d also need a crash course in plants. What is edible or not?

THE THREE THINGS I COULD LIVE WITHOUT BUT WOULD WANT:

MY PERSONAL JOURNAL with PENS:
This journal contains my unfiltered thoughts: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Each entry reflects moments of joy or sorrow, capturing so many details of my life. It acts as a refuge for self-reflection, where vulnerability intertwines with bravery while mapping my journey of growth and resilience.

A PERSONAL TRAINER with MUSIC:
This may seem like a two in one but I am gonna take it. I love working out but I need someone to kick my butt. I appreciate having someone challenge me. A personal trainer would provide motivation and expertise, pushing me as much as I could be pushed. I would be able to continue to build strength and improve endurance while also offering encouragement and accountability. BUT there must be MUSIC with this. I love ALL kinds of music and I cannot workout without it!

BLANKET, PILLOW, and YOGA MAT:
With a blanket, pillow, and yoga mat, I think (I hope) it would create a cozy sanctuary for me to rest somewhere. This would help for my mental clarity, and ready for anything, frame of mind.
